Dr Azzam Hannoon holds Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from An-Najah National University, Palestine, and Master and Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Accounting from AABFS. He possesses an excellent academic record.
His educational journey provided him with a strong foundation in accounting theory, financial reporting, and analytical skills, equipping him with the expertise necessary to address complex financial and organizational challenges.

Dr. Hannoon has more than seventeen years of experience in business education and research, having served as a faculty member at several reputable universities in Jordan and the United Arab Emirates. He also has substantial academic leadership experience, including serving as a Specialization Coordinator and Department Chair, where he oversaw curriculum development, faculty coordination, and academic governance. He also delivered several training programs in the accounting, Finiance, and analytics.

Dr. Azzam has research papers published in reputable refereed journals and books, further, he participated in international conferences. He also participated in graduate studies dissertation viva. His teaching and research interest areas include Taxation, Sustainability, Financial Disclosure, Corporate Governance, Accounting Information Systems, Financial Technology (FinTech), Environmental Disclosure, Financial Inclusion, Financial Market Returns, Entity Growth, and Board of Directors Composition.
