The Department of Research and Innovation (DRI) at Horizon University College (HUC) is dedicated to advancing knowledge, fostering innovation, and producing impactful research. Supporting HUC's goal to be among the top higher education institutions in the UAE by 2030, DRI contributes directly to UAE Vision 2031 and Ajman Vision 2030.

Our faculty leads with excellence, ranking #1 in average publications per faculty member and placing in the top 20 for total publications, authors, and citations among UAE Ministry of Education accredited institutions. We prioritise Scopus-indexed publications, patents, and applied innovation while fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and industry engagement.

DRI integrates research into teaching to provide students with hands-on, research-driven learning experiences, all upheld by the highest ethical standards and global best practices.
