Horizon University College is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with VFS Global, marking the launch of VFS Global Academy in Sharjah!
The MoU was officially signed on February 10, 2025, by Prof. Mohammad In'airat, Vice Chancellor of HUC, and Mr. Nirbhik Goel, Chief Human Resources Officer at VFS Global. This partnership will equip students with industry-relevant skills, exclusive internship opportunities with VFS Global Group Companies, and expert-led training programs designed to bridge academic learning with real-world industry demands.
Present at the signing were Amit Saincher, Global Head VFS Global Academy; Mr Nitin Anand, Vice Chairman, Horizon International Group, Dr Deepak Kalra, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Strategy and Quality Assurance), Prof. Naseem Abidi, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Operations), Mr Rakesh Gaur, Director-Marketing and Communications, Mr Firas AL Tabbaa, Director-Government and Public Relations, Mr. Zaydoon Al-Hatamleh, Training Manager and Mr Roel Pulangco, CCL, In-Charge. The academy is set to welcome its first cohort of students in the coming months. Further details regarding enrollment and program offerings will be announced soon.
قام الأستاذ الدكتور محمد انعيرات، رئيس كلية الأفق الجامعية والسيد نيرهبيك جويل، المدير التنفيذي للموارد البشرية في (VFS Global) بتوقيع مذكرة تفاهم يوم الاثنين 10 فبراير 2025، وذلك بهدف إطلاق أكاديمية (VFS Global) في الشارقة.
كما تهدف هذه المذكرة إلى تزويد الطلبة بالمهارات التي تتلاءم مع متطلبات سوق العمل، إضافةً إلى فرص تدريب حصرية ضمن مجموعة شركات (VFS Global) وبرامج تدريبية اختصاصية تحت إشراف خبراء، وذلك ضمن المساعي الحثيثة لتقليص الفوارق بين التعليم الأكاديمي واحتياجات سوق العمل.
هذا وقد حضر توقيع مذكرة التفاهم السيد أميت سينشر، رئيس أكاديمية (VFS Global) والدكتور ديباك كارلا، نائب رئيس الكلية للشؤون الاستراتيجية وضمان الجودة والأستاذ الدكتور نسيم عبيدي، نائب رئيس الكلية للشؤون الإدارية والسيد فراس الطباع، مدير عام العلاقات الحكومية والعامة والسيد راكيش جاور، مدير التسويق والاتصال والسيد زيدون الحتاملة مدير التدريب والسيد رويل بولانغكو من مركز التعليم المستمر في كلية الأفق الجامعية.
كما من المقرر أن تستقبل الأكاديمية أول دفعة من الطلبة خلال الأشهر القادمة، وسيتم الإعلان عن مزيد من التفاصيل حول التسجيل والبرامج قريبًا.

The MoU was officially signed by Prof. Mohammad In'airat, Vice Chancellor of HUC, and Mr. Simon Green, Director of Exams (GS Cluster) at the British Council. This partnership aims to enhance educational opportunities, foster skill development, and provide students with access to internationally recognized qualifications.

وقعت كلية الأفق الجامعية مذكرة تفاهم مع المجلس الثقافي البريطاني، وقام الأستاذ الدكتور محمد انعيرات، رئيس الكلية بتوقيع المذكرة مع السيد سيمون غرين، مدير الامتحانات في المجلس الثقافي البريطاني. وتأتي هذه المذكرة ضمن مساعي كلية الأفق الجامعية في الالتزام بالتميز الأكاديمي وتهدف إلى تعزيز الفرص التعليمية وتطوير المهارات ومنح الطلبة إمكانية الحصول على مؤهلات معتمدة دوليًا.

Nalinda Wijerathna, Consul General, Consulate General of Sri Lanka in the UAE, along with other diplomats and staff enjoyed a cricket match on Horizon University Cricket Ground. Horizon University College’s (HUC) Library Department signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Dubai’s (UOD) Library Department on October 13, 2021, at HUC campus. Dr. Ali Amour, Manager of the Library and Learning Resources Center of UOD and Dr. Deepak Kalra, Director of Learning Resources of HUC, signed the MoU in the presence of Mr. Veeramani Rasu, HUC’s Head Librarian.
The MoU highlights the cooperation of the two educational institutions in the fields of research, education, and e-resources sharing between educators and students.
Horizon University College formed a knowledge partnership with MAI Dubai, LLC, which was made official through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing on September 23, 2021, in Dubai. The MOU was signed by Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad In’airat, Vice-Chancellor of HUC, and Mr. Alexander van ‘t Riet, Chief Executive Officer of MAI Dubai LLC. Mr. Rakesh Gaur, HUC’s Director of Marketing and Communications, Mr. Mohammad Rasheed, Head of Corporate Affairs, and the executives from MAI Dubai including Mr. Omar Bin Shamma Head Recruitment Learning & Operational Development and Mr. Faisal Hadi Baloch Assistant Manager Learning & OD witnessed the event.
The MOU entails the scholarships that HUC will provide to the employees of MAI Dubai LLC as well as to their families. It also includes the internship opportunities for students and possible workshops that HUC will conduct for the employees.
Horizon University College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies (KIAMS), India. The virtual signing ceremony was held on September 16, 2021, in the presence of the executives and faculty members of both educational institutions. Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad In’airat, Vice-Chancellor of HUC, and Dr. Biplab Kumar Biswal, Director of KIAMS signed the MOU.
The MOU highlights areas of collaboration such as research, conferences, workshops, and even exchange programs for both students and faculty.
Horizon University College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Saffarini Group on September 8, 2021, at the campus. Eng. Bilal Saffarini, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Saffarini Group, and Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad In’airat, Vice-Chancellor of HUC, signed the MOU in the presence of the deans of the School of IT and School of Business, as well as the executives of the university.
The MOU highlights the scholarships that HUC will provide to the employees of Saffarini Group as well as their families. It also entails the possible workshops that HUC will conduct to the employees to upgrade their skills and help them grow professionally.
Horizon University College signed an MOU with Taylor’s University Malaysia, an institution listed in the top 400 of the QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) World University Rankings. The signing ceremony was held virtually on September 2, 2021. Sheikh Famy Sheikh Mohamed, Vice-President of Student Recruitment and Partnerships of Taylor’s University, and Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad In’airat, Vice-Chancellor of HUC signed the MOU.
Malaysian Ambassador to the UAE, H.E. Mr. Mohd Tarid Sufian, along with the executives of Taylor’s University witnessed the virtual signing. From Horizon, Mr. Nitin Anand, Vice-Chairman of HUC, and the university’s executives and faculty members attended the event.
The MOU highlights the plan for research collaboration, joint workshops, and student and faculty exchange programs for the two educational institutions.
