Credit-Bearing Micro-Credentials in Tourism & Hospitality

The Credit-Bearing Micro-credentials (CBMC) in Tourism & Hospitality is a specialized 15-credit hours program designed to equip professionals with essential skills in tourism and hospitality. It comprises five 3-credit hour courses extracted from the BBA program, which is accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation, Ministry of Education (MoE).

Eligibility Criteria & Admission Requirements

  • Must hold a high school certificate (attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs) or Bachelor’ Degree (attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
  • English Proficiency Level (any one of the below)
  1. Minimum of 500 score in TOEFL or 61 out of 120 on IBT of TOEFL or 173 for computer-based TOEFL
  2. Minimum of 5 score in IELTS
  3. Those without IELTS, EMSAT, or an equivalent English test qualification may opt to take the English Placement Test at Horizon University College

Course Schedule

  • Number of Hours: 48 Hours per course
  • Course Days: Monday to Thursday
  • Course Timings: 7:00 – 10:00 PM

AED 18,000 (Fees subject to change and VAT)

Refund Policy

For the course canceled by the Institution:

100% refund of course fee

For the course canceled by the student:

  • 10% of the total fees will be deducted and the balance amount will be refunded before the commencement of the course.
  • No refund after the commencement of the course.

General Terms & Conditions

  • Course and exam dates are subject to change.
  • The conduct of classes is subject to the minimum number of students enrolled.
  • The conduct of morning/evening batches is subject to the minimum number of students enrolled. In case of cancellation of either of the batches, registered students would be shifted to the available batch. Students should refer to the fee refund policy, in case he/she is not willing to shift the batch.
  • Courses offered during the holy month of Ramadan would have different timings. Students should contact administration/CCL for new timings.
