Horizon Celebrates the 48th UAE National Day
Horizon University College (HUC) celebrated the 48th UAE National Day yesterday, November 27, 2019, at HUC campus. The campus decorated with the UAE flags and balloons was filled with joyful people dancing and singing to the tune of Arabic songs while enjoying freshly cooked traditional sweets. The employees and guests participated eagerly in various activities such as face painting, horse and camel ride, and outdoor games for kids. The guests were also entertained by the brilliant dance performances of the students of Mahila P.G. Mahavidyalaya from Jodhpur, India. One of the highlights of the event was the ceremonial release of green, black, white and red balloons — the colors of the country’s flag — into the air. The Horizon community, headed by Vice-Chairman, Mr. Nitin Anand and Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mohammad In’airat, also welcomed the poet Ali Alkhawar in the event. The UAE National Day celebration was organized by Dr. Nizar Sahawneh and the students of Horizon University College.
