HUC Conducts a Community Outreach Program at POLO-Dubai
Horizon University College, through its Community Services Committee, has been conducting outreach activities at the Philippine Overseas Labor Office in Dubai (POLO Dubai) for several years now.
This year, despite the pandemic, nothing can stop us from reaching out and helping women housed in POLO-Dubai. On that note, HUC organized a month-long event in time for Women’s Month. On the theme "Spreading Love through Education,” HUC employees shared their practical knowledge and donated grocery essentials to the women in POLO-Dubai.
Faculty member Dr. Taleb Bilal Eli, shared an inspirational message to the attendees during the opening ceremony on March 5, 2021. Atty. Felicitas Bay, Philippine Labor Attaché to Dubai and the Northern Emirates, expressed her gratitude to the HUC community for organizing the event during the virtual closing ceremony held on March 26, 2021.
