Ajman, UAE – 26, February, 2026 — Horizon University College (HUC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media to strengthen collaboration in advancing tourism education, cultural initiatives, and industry engagement in the Emirate of Ajman.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Mohammad In'airat, President of Horizon University College, and H.E. Mahmood Khaleel Al Hashmi, Director General of the Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media, in the presence of senior officials and representatives from both institutions.
The agreement establishes a comprehensive framework for cooperation in the design and implementation of specialized training programs, professional workshops, and industry-focused courses tailored to meet the evolving needs of the tourism, cultural, and media sectors. The partnership will also include collaborative research initiatives and the development of case studies aimed at generating practical insights and innovative solutions supporting sector growth.
Additionally, both parties will collaborate in developing, supporting, and implementing joint projects to support the tourism sector, participating in relevant exhibitions, conferences, and industry events, and enhancing initiatives that contribute to the sustainable development of Ajman’s tourism, cultural, and media landscape.
Commenting on the partnership, Prof. Mohammad In'airat stated:
