The aim of the Reading and Writing Club is to cultivate a love for literature and creative expression among students. The club provides a platform for individuals to explore diverse genres, enhance their writing skills, and share ideas through reading, discussion, and storytelling.

Purpose of the Club

The purpose of the Debate Club is to provide opportunities for students to build communication skills through practice and participation in intramural and interscholastic speech and debate competitions; develop and pursue excellence in public speaking and oration in Collegiate level. It aims to give club members practice in public speaking and to debate on various topics.

Events Brief

1. Election of Club President, Secretary, club body
2. List out various competitions in and around Ajman to participate in
3. They will create poster, banners, pamphlets for Cross-fire
4. Work along with Media, Press club to contact universities to participate in Cross-fire
5. Contact news and media agencies to cover the event
6. Invite the various university providing them registration forms, rules and regulations, deadline for registration
7. Create pre and post event press-release and send it all media and press along with photographs
8. Photographer from the Arts Club to be contacted for photography purposes

Purpose of the Club

The basic aim of this club is to enable students to give something back to the society in general. It will also help them to face reality and get a better understanding of the world around them thus helping in providing an overall education which does not limit itself just to classrooms. Since most of the events get media exposure it will also be a way to promote Horizon College's efforts and interest in helping the unfortunate.

3. List out old age homes, orphanages
4. October- Breast Cancer Awareness Month (guest lecture on the topic + a related event)
5. Run a charity drive during the Carnival
6. Contact and finalise on a organization for whom the charity drive will be conducted and the collected fund would go
7. Get T-shirts painted/printed to wear during the charity drive
8. Visit one old age home
9. Visit one orphanage
10. December- Aids Awareness Month (related event)
11. February 4th- World Cancer Day
12. March 8th International Women's Day

The basic aim of this club is to create awareness among the Horizon community and also the general public in conserving the natural resources and protecting the environment for future generations.

Purpose of the Club

The basic aim of this club is to offer assistance to people from weaker section of the society. The club organizes charity activities in coordination with Red Crescent Sharjah.
