Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club

About the Club

Student’s Horizon Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club is part of Horizon Entrepreneurship and innovation centre which helps to promote innovation and entrepreneurial skills among the student community. It helps the students from generating ideas till preparing the business plan. It conducts regular training programs and guest lectures for the student community.

Objectives of the Club

  1. To provide a platform to generate innovate ideas
  2. To Promote entrepreneurial skills among the students
  3. To help students in preparing business plan
  4. To conduct competitions, and training programs in the areas of innovation and entrepreneurship for students

Scope of the Club

The Horizon Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club (SEIC) is open to students from all programs who want to explore entrepreneurship, innovation, and startup thinking. The club supports students at every stage—from spotting a problem and generating ideas, to validating a solution and building a full business plan.

SEIC activities typically include:

  1. Idea-to-business support: brainstorming sessions, mentorship, and step-by-step guidance to turn concepts into workable plans.
  2. Skills-building: hands-on training on pitching, market research, business models, budgeting, and presentation skills.
  3. Guest speakers & industry exposure: talks and Q&A sessions with entrepreneurs, business leaders, and innovation specialists.
  4. Competitions & challenges: internal pitch days, innovation contests, and team-based activities to encourage real execution.
  5. Collaboration & networking: connecting students across levels and disciplines to form teams and learn from each other.
  6. The club works closely with the Horizon Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre, ensuring members get practical learning, mentoring opportunities, and a pathway to grow their ideas into real projects.
